Websites

Websites that do a job, not just sit there.

A website should bring work in and take work off you. Every one of these has something on it that earns its keep: a campervan the customer can build in their own colours, a boiler price they can get at eleven at night, a shop that takes the money, a gallery that proves the work. Here they are, live, with what each one does.

Concept Vehicle Conversions

A full rebuild for a workshop whose old site did not come close to the quality of the vans. Big photography, their own look, and vans for sale that the team publish themselves from the office rather than emailing someone to do it.

Build your conversion, on screen The customer picks the van, the layout and the options, changes the colours and watches it update as they go. They arrive at the enquiry already knowing roughly what they want and what it costs, which is a far better conversation to start from.

J Hacking Heating & Plumbing

Rebuilt from a slow, rented template site onto their own setup. It loads fast, it is built for a phone, and it puts the three things a worried customer wants in front of them straight away: call, WhatsApp, price.

Get an instant boiler price A few plain questions about the house and the customer gets a real fixed price on screen, without waiting for a call back. James picks up a qualified enquiry instead of a cold one, and it lands straight in his job system.

Pete Hughes Property Services

A builder's site that deliberately does not look like a builder's site. Black and hot pink, big type, and the work doing the talking. Proof that a small trade business does not have to settle for the same blue-and-grey template as everybody else.

Drag the slider, see the difference Before and after photos sit on top of each other with a handle you drag across. It takes about two seconds to understand what Pete's team actually did to a room, which is the whole sales pitch, without a word of copy.

The Ply Lining Supplies online shop

Van ply lining kits · Burnley

Ply Lining Supplies

Not a brochure site, but a proper online shop, built on Shopify, selling ply lining kits by van model. Customers pick their van, buy, and either get it delivered or collect it. Orders from eBay drop into the same place, so there is one list to work from.

Want to sell online? This is the route. If you are selling products rather than time, a Shopify shop is usually the sensible answer: it takes the card payment, does the tax and postage, and keeps the stock straight. GSD Lab sets it up, gets the checkout behaving itself and hands you something you can run yourself.
