What I collect

If you contact GSD Lab through the website, email, WhatsApp or the booking request form, I may collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, preferred meeting time and anything you choose to include in your message.

I also receive basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Privacy-first website measurements may include page views, approximate location, browser type and performance information. They are not used to identify you.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation.
• To understand what your business needs and take steps towards providing a service.
• To deliver agreed work, keep business records and meet legal or accounting duties.
• To keep the website secure and understand which pages are useful.

The lawful bases I rely on are taking steps towards or performing a contract, complying with legal obligations, and GSD Lab's legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, operating securely and improving the service. I do not add website enquiries to a marketing list without a separate, clear choice.

Who helps process it

I use a small number of service providers where needed:

• Formspree receives website form submissions and sends them to me.
• Google Workspace provides business email, calendar and video meetings.
• Cloudflare hosts, protects and provides privacy-first measurement for this website.
• WhatsApp processes information if you choose to contact me there.

I do not sell your personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, I rely on the safeguards and contractual protections provided by those services.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry information only while it is needed to respond, manage any resulting work and meet legal, accounting or record-keeping duties. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.

Cookies and website measurement

GSD Lab uses Cloudflare's privacy-first website measurement. It does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to measure visits, and Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics product does not collect or use visitors' personal data. The site does not use advertising trackers.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for a copy of your personal information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it is used, or ask for information you supplied in a portable format.

Email [email protected] and I will help. If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Automated decisions

I do not use your personal information to make automated decisions or profile you.

Changes to this notice

If the way GSD Lab handles information changes, I will update this page and the date above.
